Hello, My name is Debi Moore and this is my 10th year teaching 6th
grade at Dekalb Middle School. I was born and raised in a little town called
Carlisle, Ohio. My husband's company moved to Cookeville, TN and he was
asked to come. I have a wonderful Husband, Stephen, who has spoiled me
completely. We have three wonderful sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law and
eight fantastic grandchildren. Along with our children, we have a one year
old Yorkie named Abbey. She is wonderful and spoiled.
This year we went to Niagara Falls for vacation. It was absolutely
beautiful. We went Down the cave of the wind which walks right in front of
the falls. The view was awesome. I wished I had taken my camera, but was
afraid it would get wet.
I really enjoy teaching! My favorite subject is Reading. I
feel reading is the key that unlocks the ability to comprehend all other
areas of learning.
My goal for my students is for them to become successful in life and to have
the confidence to reach for their potential in life.
