My husband Ronald and I went to Washington D.C. for a week this summer. We
absolutely loved it. We were able to see most of the monuments and we went
to as many of the Smithsonian Museums as possible. We were able to go to
the National Archives and see the original Constitution. At the Library of
Congress we saw Thomas Jefferson's personal book collection. History
really came alive for me this summer. It was one of the best vacations I
have ever taken.
