I attended public school in the Weakley County School System from
kindergarten through twelfth grade. I attended the University of Tennessee
at Martin, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. I received
my Masters degree from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.
After graduating from college in the winter of 1998, I served as First
Substitute at Gleason School in grades K-12. The beginning of the 1999-2000
school year led to employment at Palmersville School, where I taught for
three years. During the three years at Palmersville School, I taught 6th,
7th, and 8th grade reading, language, spelling, science, math, social
studies, physical education, and health.
I have been a first grade teacher at Dresden Elementry School since the
beginning of the 2002-2003 school year.
