Don't forget our October 4-H Meeting is Thursday the 8th! This will be the Photography Contest.
Select photographs that show imagination! People don't always have to smile and say "cheese." Start by selecting a variety of subjects to photograph. Experiment with different angles. Remember to get close enough to your subject for a good shot with sharpness. Be aware of the lighting, so that pictures capture the true color.
Rules and Guidelines
- each student may enter 1 or 2 photos (only one photo per category)categories are: people, buildings, landscapes and animals
- each entry must have a short title under the photo. be creative and original. A "catchy" title helps judges remember your photo.
- black and white or color photos may be entered.
- all photos must be taken by the student.
- photos may not be more than 1 year old.
- all pictures must be mounted on a 9x12 construction paper or sheet of poster board. (Each photo mounted separately) with the student's name, address, school, and teacher's name must be on the back of the photo.
- All entries will receive a red or blue county ribbon. the top 10 photos will receive purple ribbons.
Examples:
Summer vacation photos, wildlife scenery, pets and family are all good examples of photos you might want to enter. Start selecting your best pictures today!
