I have been fortunate to be principal of Dresden Elementary for the past
eleven years. I have been an educator for the past 40 years. I originally am
from Florida (Tampa) where I worked in the school system for 30 years. I
moved to Tennessee, where my wife is originally from, and was fortunate to
come to Dresden. I have three sons, Wallis who is thirty-one and lives in
California, John Kermit and Harris who are both students at Vanderbilt
University. My favorite activities outside of school include running,
swimming, and white water kayaking. I love the mountains and all activites
that involve that area of the country.
Dresden Elementary is committed to providing educational oppotunities that
meet the needs of the "whole" child, thus ensuring the intellectual,
emotional, social, and physical growth of evry student.
