It is the goal of Library
Media Specialist in Weakley County Tennessee to develop a library program that
supports the needs of students, faculty, and staff in each individual school in
our county. In each school the LMS will
support the curriculum and enhance learning by purchasing and supporting
materials that enrich classroom teaching and challenges students to develop as
readers. Skills that are taught in the
library will relate to the content area curriculum and support classroom instruction. The library media program
will strengthen the teaching/learning process so that learners can develop the
skills required to locate, analyze, evaluate, interpret, and communicate
information and ideas. Library Benchmarks for ·
