Library Media Center Rules

 

1.     Students will come the Library/Media Center with a willingness to learn and a cooperative attitude.

2.     Students will come to the Library/Media Center with the necessary materials to do Library/Media Center or teacher assignments.*

3.     Students will work without causing unnecessary disruptions.

4.     Students will treat the librarian and each other with respect.

5.     Students will follow proper check out procedure.

6.     Students are responsible for returning in good condition all of the materials that are checked out to them in the Library/Media Center.**

 

Consequences

1.  Verbal Warning

2.  Time Out

3.  Written assignment

4.  Detention* (If you don’t have your AR folder with your barcode sheet in it with you, do not get out of your seat.  You will receive an automatic detention if you get out of your seat and go to the shelves during checkout time and you do not have your AR folder with you in the library.)

5.  Loss of library privileges.

6.  Monetary fines**

 

Rewards

1.     Verbal Praise

2.     Participation in no detention parties and other special days and events if you don’t get in trouble in the library and your other classes.
