I live in Martin with my husband. We have lived in Martin over 30 years. We
are very family-oriented people. My husband and I have no children, but we
do have nieces and nephews that we spend a lot of time with whenever we can,
especially during summer vacation. I hold a Master's Degree +30 in Advanced
Elementary Education, a Gifted/Talented Endorsement, and also a
Administration & Supervision Endorsement. I have a profound love for
learning that reaches back to first day I entered elementary school.
Teaching is my forte because I love children, books, and learning. I am
intrinsically motivated to always be the best that I can be and do the best
that I can do. I started my teaching career at Dresden Middle School in
1999, and I can't imagine a better place to teach!
My mission is to emphasize the importance of reading to all my students. I
want to foster in them a genuine love for reading. Since reading is crucial
to succeeding in life, my mission includes motivating my
students to become lifelong learners.
