Every Wednesday:
As of yesterday, we began the skills of writing a friendly. We will be
writing a letter each Wednesday. These letters will be sent to soldiers
overseas and the elderly at a nursing home. We use the school's address.
We will begin reading an Essential Literature book Monday.
Your child will be assigned a book with a specific number. He/she will be
required to read a certain number of pages per day/week. I encourage your
child to bring the book home and read. Assignments and tests will be
administered throughout the reading of the book. Reading logs may be used
in correlation with the book.
