Class rules
1. Follow directions the first time.
2. Be in your seat to begin when the bell rings.
3. Be respectful to teacher, classmates and classroom (IN CLASSROOM NO GUM,
FOOD, DRINKS,CELLULAR PHONE ON, RADIOS, CDS, I’POD).
4. The class ends when the teacher says it’s over; until then students have
books and materials out and be working.
5. Bring all needed materials to class (YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN TO
YOUR LOCKER).
Sharing textbook often loaning other materials to someone who has come to
class unprepared will be treated as if BOTH STUDENTS forgot their
materials.
Discipline:
Students must follow directions at all times. Failure to do so will
result:
1st Warning-conference with student one-on-one
2nd Conference with the parents (by phone or e-mail)
3rd After school detention from 3:00p.m. 5:00 p.m.
4th Send him/her to the office (office referral)
Others:
*Written work and homework submitted for a grade must be done
independently unless otherwise specified.
*No cheating or plagiarism will be tolerated (computer translator
programs for any assignment is prohibited. It will receive grade 0.
*Tutoring sessions are open to all students pending good behavior
and generally are not one-on-one session.
*Missing a test/quiz: Make up must be done at any mutually convenient
time, but not class time.
*Students may have the opportunity to re-do certain assignments and
take the average of two grades. The assignments are chosen at the
teacher’s discretion.
*Wish list: Kleenex, hand sanitizer and paper for piñatas.
