I am a native of Johnson City, Tennessee where I graduated from Science Hill
High School in 1996. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary
Education from Middle Tennessee State University in December 2000. I
received my Master's degree in Instructional Effectiveness from Trevecca
Nazarene Universtiy in May 2006.
The 2007-2008 school year will be my seventh year in teaching and at East
Literature Magnet School. I taught fifth grade science, social studies,
and math. I've taught seventh grade geography and eighth grade history.
I've coached middle school cheerleaders for a year and have been coaching
high school cheerleaders for the past four years. I also coach middle
school track. I will be working with our student leaders again this year.
