Our goals  for this 3rd 9 weeks include:  comprehensive grammar review,
establishing skill strategies, making predictions, seeking patterns, cultural
awareness, interdisciplinary activities and highlighting career advantages for
bilingual professionals.

Writing:  essay topics – el trabajo, actividades extra- curriculares, el
bilinguismo,  la educación, y la justicia,

picture writing

Listening:  every Thursday from AP Longman, NSE, and AP strategies books
Speaking:  Picture narratives
	         Conversation cards
	         Story dice
	         Focused pronunciation
Reading:  comprehension strategies/ selected readings from various AP sources/
biographies/ autobiographies, essays and articles, Un cuentecillo triste por
Gabriel García Marquez , excerpts from La Casa de Bernarda Alba por Federico
Garcia Lorca
	       
Grammar:  article exceptions and irregularities, ortografía, accentuation,
adjectives, idiomatic expressions/cloze exercises, discovering patterns using
prefixes/suffixes

AP skill drills: Monday-reading/grammar, Tuesday- thematic vocabulary building
(Triángulo), Wednesday-Barron’s AP Spanish, Thursday-Longman Listening,
Friday- Princeton AP strategies
