What does the '2010 Student Tardy Letter' tell parents?
2010 SECOND TARDY LETTER
Dear Parent or Guardian:
Your student has incurred two tardies to Chemistry I, Biology I, or Honors Chemistry. Ample
advisement from Mr. Ball in two high school assemblies, and in the classroom from the faculty
has been provided to insure student punctuality as an integral component of their education.
This letter is to inform you upon the occurrence of a third or more tardy, your student will be
assigned a 30-minute detention after school on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:15 – 3:45 PM in
the high school auditorium. Students may select a day to attend within one week of the
infraction.
It is our goal to assist students in accountability and assuming responsibility for their actions.
Please, speak to yours on this issue, as we continue to better the ‘Eagle’ learning environment for
maximized academic success.
