I began teaching in Oklahoma after receiving my Bachelor of Fine Arts in
Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. I moved to Nashville in
2004 and began teaching art at East Literature Magnet School. I love art
and I am passionate about helping our students develop their artistic skills
and creativity. I have a daughter, Chloe, who started 2nd grade this year.
When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with her and the rest of my
family. I am looking forward to another great year at East!
