I was born and lived in Southern Florida until my family moved to Boulder,
Colorado when I was 12 years old. I went to college at Brandeis University,
located in Waltham, Massachussetts and graduated with a B.A. in Pyschology
in 2001. For several years I worked in a variety of educational capacities
in the Boston area. I secretly knew that being a classroom teacher was
something that I had always wanted to do, so I moved to Nashville three
years ago in order to receive my Master's degree in Elementary Education
from Vanderbilt University. In my spare time I enjoy learning how to play
the piano and reading. This is my third year at East and I am looking
forward to a wonderful year!
I would like for our classroom to be a community of learners who are not
afraid to ask questions and
take risks.
