I was born and raised in Clarksville, TN. I attended Austin Peay State University and received my bachelor's
degree in May of 2001. I met my husband David, who is from Cleveland, at college and we married a
week after graduation. He is an accountant.
Since beginning my teaching career eight years ago, I have completed my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership
from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Our daughter Anna Catherine is now a two-year old, red-head ! She is a wonderful and glorious gift!
She has a big, furry brother. He is a Shetland Sheepdog named Scout, who we love very much.
I have taught both sixth grade and kindergarten. I love reading and traveling!
