| Mrs. Nerren sees students individually and in group settings on a referral
basis. However, students are free to talk to her as needed without a
referral. Classroom guidance lessons are provided to every class at each
grade level (K through 5) twice a month. These developmental lessons focus on
topics such as study skills, friendship and social skills, resolving
conflicts, feelings, decision-making skills, drug education, career
education, and character education. This year students are also getting
lessons from the Second Step program through the guidance curriculum(more
info. on this on the Social Skills page).
