Homework

November 30 - December 4

.....This week's Spelling Quiz Words:

like ride time white smile ice who work
     bike hide dime kite

(Please note that ten of these words have VCe pattern.
Usually when we see this pattern, the first vowel is
pronounced long and "sneaky e" is silent. "Sneaky e"
makes no sound, but it changes a short vowel to a
      long vowel sound......as rid/ride, dim/dime, kit/kite, etc.)

.....Visit SPELLING CITY--(on our Home Page). Click on
"Who Works Here?". You can play games and practice this
week's Spelling words at the same time.

.....Spelling practice page when in your Home/School folder.

.....Saxon math sheet and/or doubles cards when in your
     Home/School folder.

.....Review your word cards. Read them, sort them, and see how
many short sentences you can make with them. (Remember
to end each telling sentence with a period and each
     question with a question mark.)
