.....This  week's  Spelling  Quiz  Words:
     (Quiz  will  be  Tuesday.)

(Please  note  that  ten  of  these  words  have  VCe  pattern.
      Usually  when  we  see  this  pattern,  the  first  vowel  is  
      pronounced  long  and  "sneaky  e"  is  silent.  "Sneaky  e"
      makes  no  sound,  but  it  changes  a  short  vowel  sound  to 
      a  long  vowel  sound......as  hop/hope, rod/rode, not/note, etc.)

.....Just  for  fun  holiday  words....(no  quiz:).....

.....Bring  ten  dimes  to  school  to  add  to  your  counting  money.
     (This  money  is  for  counting....not  spending:)  If  you've  done
     this,  thank  you.

     Home/School  folder.

.....Review  your  word  cards.  Read  them,  sort  them,  and  see  how   
     many  short  sentences  you  can  make  with  them.  (Remember   
     to  end  each  telling  sentence  with  a  period  and  each 
     question  with  a  question  mark.)
