I am in my twenty-fourth year as an educator. I started teaching 2 years after graduating from the University of Tennessee at Martin. I taught Chapter I for 5 years and then 1st grade for 14 years. I have been working with 3rd graders for 4 years now. I love my job and enjoy the children. I have been married to Rick for 26 years and we have 2 boys, Heith and Kirk, ages 25 and 22.
