This list was created by First Grade teachers in Greeneville City Schools as a resource for parents and other teachers.  These books have been used by these teachers for reading aloud and have brought much enjoyment to children.  Some of these books come in a series or have multiple titles by the same author.  In general, the teachers recommend all of the books by the authors listed below.
