How are grades averaged?

In all regular math classes at GHS homework counts 20%, quizzes count 20%, 
and tests 
count 60%. Exams count 1/9 of the total nine weeks grade.

Do all students take exams?

ALL students are required to take a comprehensive exam at the end of the 
first nine weeks. If students have at least a C averge, miss no more than 2 
excused classes, and receive fewer than 3 tardies, they may be exempt from 
the second nine weeks exam.
