Homework

Homework is assigned in order for students to practice the concepts
that have been taught and to determine what additional work is needed. If a
student does not do the assigned homework, that student does not know what
they are able to do by themselves. Consequently, I do not know exactly what
additional instruction that student needs. Students will not be proficient
in math without practice.
Homework is due on the assigned day and will not receive credit if not
presented at that time. If a student was present when the assignment was
made but is absent on the day that the homework is checked, I will expect
the assignment to be shown to me upon the student's return to class. If a
student was absent when the assignment was made, that student should
complete the assignment and show it to me within 5 school days to receive
credit for the assignment.
Major tests are scheduled several days in advance. I will post this
schedule in the calendar schedule of my web page. Please check those dates
in order to prepare for these tests.
