Hello!
My name is Shari Kinney. I have been working in the field of education for
14 years. My experiences have been varied: classroom teacher, adjunct
professor, headmistress, and most recently a high school assistant principal
in Charleston, SC. I am very excited about being back in the "land of my
birth," and even more excited about being back in the classroom. On a
personnal note, I am married to Scott Kinney, and we have three daughters:
Elizabeth, Kaitlin, and Caroline. Elizabeth is attending UT, Kaitlin is
currently receiving her National Guard training, and Caroline is in six
grade at Greeneville Middle.
I have a sincere love and appreciation for the educational "experience." I
actually believe that learning for the sake of learning can be good for the
soul. So, while teaching your child the content standards for world
geography, I also hope to expose them to the power of knowledge!
