Innovations and Inventions: welcome to the schools year 2006-2007.
Innovations and inventions is a pre-engineering class where we learn the
processes of problem solving, restearch, design techniques and developing a
finished model for competition. The first six weeks of the class will be
devoted to learning how to put ideas on paper and using a computer for the
same end. Paper drawings and computer generated drawings will be graded for
accuracy and neatness. The rest of the block will be devoted to researching
designing and building projects. The projects are: bridge building, CO2
cars, airplanes, rockets, mousetrap cars, egg cars, catapults, roller
coasters and rube-goldberg machines.
