Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
How much homework should I expect my child to have in Mrs. Becky's class?
I do not assign nightly homework. Children are allowed to bring home worksheets and assignments that they do not finish in class for extra help in completing as long as no grade is being recorded for the assignment. If an assignment is being recorded for assessment purposes, it must be completed at school during the day in which it is assigned.Back to Top

How are grades determined?
Grades are determined from assessed assignments completed in class. These assignments are given after students have had ample opportunity to learn and practice assessed skills. Please give your child extra help if necessary to complete daily assignments so that they will be able to complete assessed assignments as accurately as possible.Back to Top

How will I find out about my child's grades and behavior while at school?
I send home a weekly progress report each week which is stapled to any graded work that has been recorded for the week. The progress report will indicate general classroom behavior and has a space for me to make individual comments pertaining to your child. I ask that you sign and return the progress report each week as a way for us to communicate about your child's progress.Back to Top
