If you would like to volunteer to help in our classroom or visit our 
classroom just let me know. You are more than welcome.  We love company! And 
don't forget that you are also invited to come for lunch any time your 
schedule permits. Some of the children and I will be eating together in the 
classroom on Thursdays. If your child is eating with me, you may come, too!!

Please try to check your child's folder each day. If you can't, please have 
a special place where you or your child can put his/her work until you can 
look at it. It's very important to remove the work and notes each day so the 
folders will last all year. If you have questions about a particular 
assignment, just write a note on the paper and  put it in the "Return to 
School" side. The children turn these folders in each day, and I check them. 
It's one of the best ways I've found for us to communicate. Any notes, lunch 
money, etc. that you need to send to school can also be sent in this folder.

We are collecting BoxTops for Education again this year. I'm the coordinator 
for our school so you can send me those, too. I hope you'll invite your 
friends and family to collect them for us, also. Perhaps you could even ask 
the people at your church to save them as well. All the money collected will 
go to help all our students in grades PreK-12.
