Unit 2 theme:  Better Together  This week's theme: On the Farm

Comprehension skill: visualize, cause and effect

Vocabulary words:  demand, emergency, furious, impatient, sincerely, snoop

Phonics skill:  consonant blends scr, spr, str

Spelling words: screen, scream, scrape, stripe, struck, strict, sprain, 
spring, spruce, strap;  review words: path, wishbone; high frequency words: 
carry, once, talk

Language: combine sentences

Math:  2 digit subtraction and addition

Science:  learn about liquids

Social Studies:  learn about using our resources

Monday:  Read "Click, Clack, Moo" pp.412-419.  Weekly spelling test 
Friday.

Tuesday: Read "Click, Clack, Moo" pp.420-427. Do Spelling Practice Book 
pp.59-60.  Study spelling words.

Wednesday: Read "Click, Clack, Moo" pp.428-435. Study spelling words.

Thursday:  Reread "Click, Clack, Moo" pp.412-435. Look at the "Think and 
Compare" questions at the end of the story.  Talk about these with your 
child.  It's an excellent way to review for the weekly test.  Reading quiz 
and spelling test tomorrow.

Friday: Enjoy the weekend!
