I am a proud graduate of Harriman High School, MTSU, and UT. Harriman is my
birthplace and where I will forever call home. My family includes my
husband Chris, (a dean at RSCC), my son Jonathan (a third grader at Walnut
Hill), and our newest family member, Victoria (19 months). If you would
like to know more about our family and Tori's adoption from China, you can
visit our website at www.youbelong.net/victoriawhaley. I have also provided
a link to our family site under "Links."
English III and IV are courses that seek to integrate the standards of
reading, writing, viewing and representing, and speaking and listening.
Students will work to comprehend and produce a wide variety of texts,
including traditional works of literature, practical and persuasive forms of
communication that involve speaking and listening skills, and the use of
appropriate technology and media forms. The course emphasizes the
communication and critical thinking skills necessary to enable students to
deal effectively with multicultural and ethnic diversity in a rapidly
changing world.
The State of Tennessee Standards for English III and IV are found under
my "Links" page.
