We now have 5 different Lunchtime Literary Circles meeting once a week for
lunch. We have one 5th grade group,three 6th grade groups, and one 7th grade
group. Students enjoy hot chocolate and discuss a book they have read during
the week. Students each have a specific role to play in their groups. These
groups have generated a lot of excitement about reading and there are waiting
lists to join a group!The groups now are studying From the Mixed-Up Files of
Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, Double Dutch, Schooled, Drums, Girls, and
Dangerous Pie, and Notes from the Midnight Driver.
