| We now have 4 different lunchtime literary circles meeting once a week for
lunch. We have two 5th grade groups and two 6th grade groups. Mrs. Kelley
hopes to start a 7th-8th grade groups soon.Students enjoy hot chocolate and
discuss a book they have read during the week. Students each have a specific
role to play in their groups. These groups have generated a lot of
excitement about reading and there are waiting lists to join a group!The
groups now are studying From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E.
Frankweiler, Double Dutch, The Landry News and Drums, Girls, and Dangerous
Pie.
