NAME: MRS. LIZ WICKERSHAM
ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL:
Mrs. Wickersham and her husband, Bernie, have been married for 36 years,
have three grown sons and four grandchildren. Mr. & Mrs. Wickersham have
lived in Cookeville since 2000 and are members of Heavenly Host Lutheran
Church. Mrs. Wickersham was the Church Council's representative to the
school board for over a year. With 14 years' teaching experience, a
Bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of Wisconsin, and
a Master's degree in Special Education from the University of Colorado-
Denver, Mrs. Wickersham is currently working on her Ed.S. in Administra-
tion/Supervision at Tennessee Tech. In October, 2005, Mrs. Wickersham
completed a Colloquy with Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, and is now
a "called" Minister of Education!!! (Congratulations, Mrs. W.!!! We are so
proud of you!!!)
MISSION FOR THE SCHOOL
The mission of Heavenly Host Lutheran School is to glorify God by providing
a safe, nurturing, academically challenging, Christ-centered community in
which all young people can grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, and
culturally to be active Christian leaders.
