Mrs. Nelms received her Bachelor of Music degree from Belmont 
University. She received her Master of Music degree from the 
University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Mrs. Nelms is a published 
composer and arranger. She met her husband while on choir tour in 
Europe in 1987. She has two children.  Her hobbies are bicycle 
riding,songwriting and camping.
