My Name is Angie King. I have lived in Blount County all of my life. I
attended Binfield Elementary School until I was in the fourth grade. The
county closed Binfield and we moved into Mary BLount Elementary, which I
attended until the eighth grade. I then went to William Blount High School,
where I was in the choir. After graduation, there was no question of what I
wanted to do with the rest of my life. I went to Maryville College to pursue
a degree in teaching. I made it through the four years, completed my student
teaching at Friendsville Elementary School, and graduated on May 20, 2002.
After Graduation, I taught my first year of school at Pigeon Forge Primary
school teaching third grade. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed
the kids. At the end of the year, I decided that I would love to teach
closer
to home and in the system that I had grown up in. I am now at Heritage
Middle
School and loving every minute of it. I earned my Master's Degree from
Tennessee Tech University in August of 2005.
On a personal note, my life has been very special. I have the best parents
in
the world who love me very much and tried to give me everything that I needed
and wanted. I have a twin brother who I am very close to. We had a lot of
fun growing up. We lived in several houses but all of them were in
Maryville.
In 1999, I met the man of my dreams! We were married on March 30, 2002. We
had a beautiful wedding and are now the proud owners of a new home in
Walland.
This home means a lot to us because we built majority of it ourselves.
We also have a black lab named Jake. We attend Ridgeview Baptist Church
where we are very active in many different things.
I enjoy spending time with my family and my husband's family, scrapbooking,
and riding bikes.
