Mrs. Simmerly is a Science Teacher with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in
Physics from Maryville College. She went back to school in 2007 and completed
a Post-Bac Teaching Program and a Master's in Education from Lincoln Memorial
University in 2009.
Mrs. Simmerly is married to Mark Simmerly and has two children, Mark-David who
is 5 and Anaka who is 2. Mrs. Simmerly originally lived in Kentucky
(Louisville, Georgetown, and Nicholasville) as a child and moved to
Maryville to attend Maryville College. She loves the mountains!
