This is my tenth year teaching at Heritage Middle. I graduated from the
University of Tennessee in 1999 with a B.A. in Psychology/Education.
In 2000, I graduated from U.T. with my Master's degree in Education.
I absolutely love teaching! All of the students are so unique, and I
am having a great time getting to know all of them!
"A hundred years from now . . . it will not matter what my bank
account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove,
but the world may be different because I was important in the life of
a CHILD!!!"
I believe that all students can learn, and my goal is to find out how
they learn best, while providing an environment that is conducive to
learning.
My mission for Social Studies is to expose the students to World
History, discussing various topics such as: Ancient Civilizations, The
Growth of Civilizations, and Times of Change. As I teach these
concepts I will incorporate the Lifeskills and Lifelong Guidelines.
