Mrs. Weeks is a former corporate retail executive who finally pursued her
first love: teaching. Her 1987 undergraduate degree in Merchandising and
Design from East Carolina University is well balanced with extensive study in
English literature. Mrs. Weeks earned a Master of Science degree in 2009 from
the University of Tennessee in secondary education. Her specialty is growing
strong and effective writers, while delivering animated lessons in the
important literature our students should experience. She enjoys a multimedia
approach to teaching the concepts of literature, writing, grammar and
vocabulary: recognizing that today's students thrive in an entirely different
technological platform than ever before.
