Materials -- Students are expected to bring textbook, notebook,
agenda planner, workbook, and pen/pencil to class.
Homework -- Homework is collected at the end of each unit of study.
Daily assignments may be found under "Syllabus" and a
complete list of the unit homework my be found under "Homework."
Make up Work -- Students are required to make up work missed when they
are absent. Students are not required to make up labs.
Late Work -- I accept late work. However, points will be subtracted
for late work.
Grading -- Grades will be calculated using the following formula:
Tests -- 20%
Benchmark test (end of each marking period) -- 10%
Homework -- 30%
Daily Work -- 40% (Includes lab reports, short
quizzes, class work)
Extra credit is encouraged. I frequently give students
ideas in class and a list is posted in the classroom.
