Unofficial copies of student transcripts are mailed home three times a year:
October, January, and June. These copies are intended for students and
parents to use to keep track of graduation status, to have the most recent
GPA available as needed, and to maintain open communication between the
school and home.

Current Hillsboro students:
Please pick up a transcript request card in the Counseling Office, fill in
all requested information, and turn in the card to the guidance clerk. The
first five copies of your transcript are sent for free, after that they are
$1.00 each.
If you need to send a transcript to a college or university within the state
of Tennessee, please log on to the CollegeforTN.org website. Once there you
can click on the "Applications & Transcripts" tab, follow the on-screen
instructions, and send your own official transcripts whenever you'd like.
NOTE: Hillsboro does NOT sent ACT/SAT scores. Those must be sent directly
from ACT or SAT. Please use the link above to go to the ACT/SAT page for the
links to their websites.
Classes of 2007 to 2008:
You may send your own transcript electronically to most Tennessee schools
through the CollegeforTN website. Please log on to the site at
http://www.collegefortn.org, click on the "Applications and Transcripts" tab,
and follow the on-screen instructions. If you have forgotten your login
information please use the site's reminder option and then save your login
somewhere you can retrieve it easily. This is a free service.
If you need your transcript sent to a college or university outside of
Tennessee, or if you have problems with the CollegeforTN website, please
follow the directions below.
Classes of 2007, 2008, and 2009:
If you still live in the Nashville area, please come by the Counseling
Office and complete a transcript request card. There is a $3.00 fee,
payable with cash (exact change only), cashier's check, or money order only,
for each copy of your transcript.
If you do not live in the Nashville area, please send a letter requesting a
copy of your transcript. Your letter must include:
* Your full name as it appears on your transcript
* Year you graduated from Hillsboro
* Your Social Security Number
* Name and complete address of the college/university where you need the
transcript sent
* Your signature

If you graduated before 2007:
You must order copies of your transcripts from the Metro Nashville Public
Schools Records Center. For more information please call the Customer
