Hillsboro High School's counselors are available to all students during
lunch everyday without an appointment. Parents are asked to call in advance
to make an appointment to meet with their child's counselor. A "Counselor of
the Day" is available for drop-in visitors and unexpected events.

The mission of the Hillsboro High School counseling department is to provide
support and services to all students to help them achieve their highest
academic goals, to identify their post-secondary aspirations and understand
the connection between school and career, and to develop into mature,
self-confident young adults who will make the world better than it is today.
