Parents,

I was so glad to get to visit with many of you at Parent-Teacher Conference. I am enjoying your children every day in class. We are working hard and learning lots!

Mid Term reports went home on Wednesday. I also sent home the Stanford test the students took in 2nd grade in place of TCAP. If you have any questions about these two reports, please contact me.

Have a happy and safe Halloween!

Thanks

Student Spotlight

Each week I select a student of the week. This student creates a poster about himself/herself to display in the hallway for others to see. The student of the week has special tasks to perform in the classroom and is featured in Friday’s news.

Madalyne Tanner
Parents’ Names: Bradley and Shaylon
Siblings: Audrey and two on the way!
“I am good at art and singing.”
“I want to be a veterinarian, singer, and psychiatrist when I grow up.”
“I wish that I could go to Arkansas for the week.”

Fall Festival

We really hope to see everyone at Fall Festival tonight! There will be many games and jumpers for the kids to enjoy. Come prepared to eat, eat, eat… The hotdog and hamburger supper begins at 5:30 and concessions will be sold beginning at 6:00. Look for snow cones, cotton candy, nachos and popcorn! The auction will begin at 7:00 and last till…whenever. What a great place to be on a potentially messy night!

Open House
Please make plans to attend our open house,
chili supper, and booster meeting on November 17 at 6:00. There will be time to
visit each classroom to see student work and speak with the teachers.
