Announcements!
-MRS. WEAVER'S CLASS ONLY: Christmas Party! We will have our party on Friday
Dec. 18. This is a half day for students. If you would like to send
something in for the party please send me a note telling me what you will
send, so I will know what to expect. We would like to "try" to keep it a
little healthy. Fruit, veggies, baked chips, etc. A little junk food is
fine, but I would like to keep it to a minimum. We will not accept any form
of cokes, only juices, lemonade, water, etc. Paper cups, plates, spoons, and
napkins will also be graciously accepted.
-MRS. WEAVER'S CLASS ONLY: THE STUDENTS SAID THEY WANTED TO HAVE A SMALL GIFT
EXCHANGE. THEY ARE TO FIND SOMETHING FOR $1. FOR EXAMPLE, A PACK OF GUM,
CANDY BAR, OR SOMETHING FROM THE DOLLAR TREE. THE GIFT MUST BE FOR A BOY OR A
GIRL. PLEASE HAVE THIS WRAPPED AND SENT IN BEFORE THURSDAY. IF YOU DO NOT
WANT YOUR CHILD TO PARTICIPATE THAT IS OKAY, IT IS NOT REQUIRED.
- When we get back from Christmas break we will be an all tennis shoe,
athletic shoe, soft-soled shoe school. This is for all grade levels. No
flip-flops, sandals, boots, etc. If you have any questions please contact
Mrs. Sitzlar or Mr. Linville.
- I HIGHLY encourage you to look through your child's agenda and backpack.
There are several students that never take any graded papers, homework, forms,
notes home, work reports, etc. out of their backpack. This speaks volumes
about their current grades and missing work.
Upcoming assignments:
Social Studies - Study Guide for Chapter 7 will be sent home on Monday. Test
will be Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday we will work on Map Skills.
Science - I decided not to start Chapter 6 until we get back from break. We
will review Chapters 1-5 in various ways this week.
