*Field trip information: We are going to Mayfield Dairy Farm Corn Maze and
Pumpkin Patch on October 30th. The cost is $10.00 for students and $6.oo for
parents. No Small Children please. This is not a trip for very small
children. Lots of walking is involved. Students and parents will need to
bring a lunch. You may opt to purchase one from the cafeteria. All money
and permission slips are due by October 21 but you may send it in before then.
I do not have a limit on chaperones but must turn in a number before hand.
If you would like to go please let me know.
* Volunteers: I have one parent set up on a volunteer schedule. I have had
several parents volunteer to
come in but can only come on certain days and times. Please send me a note
at least a day ahead of
time to let me know when you are coming.
I would like to send a very special thank you to Mrs. Henline and Mrs.
Pettitt for helping out on computer lab days. Thanks!!!
*Ordering book orders online..... go to www.scholastic.com/bookclubs
User name is kesroom303 and the password is bookorder. This will be the same
throughout the year. Our class gets a free book each time you place an order.
* If your child has a change in how they are going home please please please
send in a note to let me know. We have several students who like to say they
are car riders when they are not really. If they are usually a bus rider and
do not have a note then they will be stuck on the bus.
* Extra Speacial Fridays.... Each Friday the students who have not moved
their baseball all week get to eat lunch in the classroom and watch T.V.
This is a little reward for all of their hard work. I am so proud of them!
*Wear orange and blue on Friday to support the Yellow Jackets!!
* Your child may bring a healthy snack to school. They may also bring a
bottle of water. No candy, juices, or sodas will be allowed.
* If you would like to schedule a conference please send a note to school or
e-mail the days and times that you are available. I will not be able to
meet
unless it is during a scheduled time. Our school day is spent learning new
things.
