Parents, 12/11/09
I hope that everyone is having a great December so far. Things here
are going very well, but they are about to get a little hectic. Please
remember that when we return from Winter Break on January 4th, KES will be a
tennis shoes only school. That means no boots, sandals, dress shoes, etc. If
your child comes into school in shoes other than tennis shoes they will have
to call home to get different shoes.
We will be having a Character counts assembly on Wednesday the 6th at
2:00 if you would like to attend. Also, please remember that the 18th is a
half day for the students. Please make sure you have arrangements made for
your child if you have to work.
We will not be starting a new reading story or language skills but we
will continue to work in science and social studies as well as handwriting
and math. I know that there will be several distractions but we have to keep
chugging along. We will not be having a Christmas party but I will have a
special treat for the students on Friday. You don’t have to send in anything
unless you just really want to.
