A Little About Me

     My name is Amy Carter.  I was born and raised in Roane County.  My mother
and father are retired Roane County Educators.  
     
     I have been married to John Carter for 15 years and we have 3 amazing 
children. 

     My oldest son Zachary is 12, my middle child Logan is 7 and my youngest
child Emma Kay is 5.  
     
     I've taught elementary education for 11 years.  I taught kindergarten
my first year and have taught 1st grade the last 10 years. 
     
     I have a BS in Early Childhood Education from Tennessee Tech University
and I am currently working on my Masters Degree in reading and mathmatics.
     
     I love teaching!!!! Teaching isn't the easiest of professions but I do
believe it is one of the most rewarding!
