Welcome to Kingston Elementary School. This is my fifth year as principal at Kingston Elementary School, and I previously taught middle school reading for 12 years. Prior to that, I was an administrator at a private school for emotionally disturbed and behavior problem children for 10 years. I am an honors graduate from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a Bachelor's degree in education. I obtained my Master's degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (also in education) and the obtained my Ed.S from Tennessee Technological University in educational administration and supervision. I was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society in 2002, and am an active member of Delta Kappa Gamma Educational Sorority. I am married to Greg Sitzlar, a teacher and coach in the Roane County School System. I have two children. My son Justin is a physics major at Tennessee Tech. My daughter Rachel is a human services major and college basketball player at Tennessee Wesleyan College. I have lived in Kingston for the past 30 years and my hobbies include golf in the summer months and quilting and needlework.
