Dear Parents,
We have had a great first day of school. All five of the "First days" went
wellI am really looking forward to teaching your child this year. I love
Kindergarten because you see so much growth in this year that you do not see
in any other grade. It is amazing what each student will learn his or her
first year.
Please make sure that you send in a note if your child starts to ride the bus
after the start up of school. Anytime there is a change of plans please make
sure that I know or I will stick to the original plan that we have set up in
the beginning.
Everyday at 2:15 we will have snack. Each child must bring in his or her
snack each day. We drink water for snack.
It is a good idea for your child to bring in a change of clothes jsut in case
he or she has an accident. Sometimes the children go down the slide when it
is wet or spill something on themselves in the cafeteria. This will help you
all too. I know that it is hard to leave work and bring a change of clothes
for your child.
I will be glad to schedule a conference with you at any time that you would
like. Send me and note and we can schedule a time.
I will send a note home once a week on Friday. It will also be posted on our
web page at Roanschools.com. Just look under faculty and you will see my
