December is upon us! If the next two weeks are as busy as the first week,
it's going to be quite exciting! I have pictures to post, but I simply
haven't had time to post them yet. Be sure to ask your child about the bear
that came to class and the tops we made in class. I'll get them posted soon,
it's just a slow process!
If you have questions about any activities this month, like our party, feel
free to ask! My time is pretty limited right now, so I may not explain
things as clearly as I'd like. :) (I love this time of year, but I sure am
busy!) We're making all kinds of things in class, so if you come for our
party, there are a few things you will want to take home with you...
Do I have your early dismissal form yet? I am required to pest you until I
receive it. I really need it in case we are sent home early due to the
weather. Snow can and does cause early departures and we want to make sure
your child is safe. I cannot put your child on a bus to go home to an empty
house. Nor can I allow someone who is not on your approved list to take your
child home for you. In the event of a snow day, I will not be able to call
you. If you've never been in the school when snow is coming, the phones ring
off the hook and I won't be able to call out. Please help me keep your child
safe by returning your early dismissal form soon. Thank you!
A family has been chosen for our class to support for Christmas. You already
received the details from our room moms, but if you have questions, feel free
to ask me about it. The deadline for sending items is December 15th. Thanks
for supporting this worthy cause and helping me teach your child about
generosity during this holiday season!
The Kindergarten Christmas Program is scheduled for Thursday, December 10th
at 7 PM. The children will be presenting "Twas the Night Before Christmas"
and singing some traditional Christmas songs. It's an optional event, but
you won't want to miss it!
Our Christmas party is scheduled for December 18th @ 8:20 AM. From what
Blake and Hayley's moms have told me about their plans, it should be a
terrific party. Parents are invited to join us for the party and feel free
to jump in and help with any activity you like!
