Our focus this school year will be on good book care when we check out library books, and learning about different authors. In the primary classes we will focus on the following authors; Marc Henkes/ Denise Fleming/ Eric Carle/ In the upper grades we will focus on Barbara Park/ and Kate DiCamillo. Third grade will learn about history through the American Girl Series. This week we are learning about the Great Depression with Kit. We will be learning about the different sections of the library and how to locate books by their call numbers. We will also be learning about our new computer system and computerized card catalog.
