I was born in Illinois but grew up in Louisville,Kentucky. I came to
Nashville to attend college at Trevecca Nazarene University. While at school
I met and married my late husband,Ron. I have a 30 year old son named Dustin
who graduated from M.T.S.U. about six years ago. Presently, he is working
for the state of TN. as a Disability Claims Adjuster. I started my teaching
career at a private school teaching Science to Jr. High students. After
moving to Wilson Co., I taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade at Mt. Juliet
Elementary for 6 years. When my son, Dusty was in third grade at Lakeview, I
transferred to Lakeview and have been teaching 3rd grade here for the last
22 years. I enjoy following the Kentucky Wildcats (basketball), the
Tennessee Vols (football), as well as the Titans. In my spare time I enjoy
movies, reading, and shopping.
