I began teaching in 1990. I taught first grade at Holy Rosary Academy from
1990-1994. I then stopped teaching full-time to be able to stay home with
my children. I began substituting in 1996 and worked in grades K-8 for both
Holy Rosary Academy and Wilson County Schools. In 2005, I came to
Lakeview. I have taught both first and third grade here.
I live in the Gladeville area with my husband Danny, and my two daughters,
Amy and Allison. We have a 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses. We ride horses,
ride bikes, and go camping every chance we get. Playing tennis and reading
are my other favorite things to spend time doing.
I am a volunteer for Team in Training. This great organization raises
money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
My goal is for the students to become motivated and independent learners.
